Week 2 Development
Welcome to Week 2!
At two weeks old, puppies are wrapping up their daily Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) exercises and beginning brand-new developmental activities to continue supporting their growth, sensory awareness, and physical coordination.
🐾 Exciting Week 2 Milestones:
- Eyes are opening! Their vision is beginning to develop as they take in their surroundings.
- Walking on all fours! They are up on their feet and moving around—no more belly crawling!
It is such a joy watching them explore their whelping box with growing curiosity. During this week, we begin introducing tactile toys from PawTree and other sensory objects to enhance their enrichment experience.
🧸 Comfort for Transition: When your puppy goes home, they’ll bring a special PawTree stuffed toy that smells like Mama—a comforting transition item to help them adjust seamlessly to their new home!
