Athena is currently in heat and will breed with Bentley soon! We are expecting puppies late August or early September. Puppies should be ready to go home late October depending on when they are actually born.

Our breeding program is built on the principles of transparency, responsibility, and continual improvement. Health testing is an essential tool we use to make informed breeding decisions and to support the long-term well-being of our dogs and the families who love them.
Types of Health Testing We Utilize
We employ a combination of genetic and phenotypic health evaluations, which may include:
Embark DNA testing for inherited genetic conditions
OFA evaluations, including hips, elbows, patellas, cardiac, and eyes (as age-appropriate)
PennHIP evaluations to assess hip laxity
Additional testing as recommended by veterinarians and specialists
Not every dog will have every test listed at the same time. Testing is performed based on age, maturity, role in the program, and current breeding plans.
