Shedding: Ace has the standard heavy seasonal shedding coat typical of his Golden Retriever heritage, which contributes to the gorgeous, lustrous appearance we all admire. Regular brushing is essential to manage loose hairs, preventing them from spreading throughout the home and maintaining his beautiful look. Additionally, we carefully select females carrying the low-shed gene for breeding, which helps reduce the overall level of shedding in their puppies. This approach allows us to preserve the classic Golden Retriever appearance while minimizing seasonal shedding challenges. We do not recommend shaving a mini Golden’s coat as the coat offers protection.

Health testing: he is tested to CHIC standards; Embark vet DNA profile, PennHip, OFA eyes, heart, patellas, elbows, and hips.
