About Bentley
Golden Retriever Bentley
Taylor's Bentley Treasure
”Bentley”
AKC Golden Retriever
Size & Structure
36 lbs. full grown
20” inches tall at shoulder
Bentley has the most wonderful calm, loving, and devoted disposition. He has been an incredible therapy dog for our son and has a natural ability to connect deeply with the people he loves.
He is exceptionally loyal, eager to please, and was incredibly easy to train. Bentley has beautiful off-leash manners, excellent recall, and will happily run alongside a bike while staying perfectly connected to his person. He has always been the kind of dog we can completely trust—steady, responsive, gentle, and devoted to his family.
More than anything, Bentley is simply such a good boy. He is our forever dog and will never leave our family. We feel incredibly fortunate to have shared our lives with him and honored to have been able to pass his wonderful temperament on through his puppies.
As Bentley approaches physical retirement from breeding, his legacy will continue. We have preserved his semen through a reproductive bank, allowing us the possibility of thoughtfully producing future Bentley puppies even after his retirement. His temperament, loyalty, and beautiful Golden Retriever character are qualities we hope to preserve in our program for generations to come.
Puppy Colors: Bentley’s puppies are white, cream, light gold, and gold depending on the dam he is bred to. He has cream colored puppies if bred to an English Cream dam.
Health Testing: OFA heart, elbows, and patellas: normal. PennHIP testing was completed at two years of age, and his hips remain in great condition at age ten. Embark genetic testing shows he is clear of the other genetic disease variants tested. He is an unaffected carrier of ichthyosis. We test our females to ensure he is paired only with females who are clear of the same ichthyosis variant.
