Color & Coat texture: Light gold/ cream, straight coat

Shedding: Tristan has two copies of the low shedding genes (TT) for his coat. He sheds much less seasonally than our standard Golden Retrievers. His coat feels so soft and luxurious. His coat is low maintenance and requires regular brushing to keep him looking his best. We do not recommend shaving a mini Golden’s coat as the coat offers protection.

Health testing: he is tested to CHIC standards; Embark vet DNA profile, PennHip, OFA eyes, heart, patellas, elbows, and hips.

Personality: Tristan is our adorable Miniature Golden Retriever, known for his exceptional temperament. Tristan’s DNA results show perfect Miniature Golden Retriever. We aim for our dogs to be at least 50% Golden Retriever, combined with Cocker Spaniel to lower size and energy. Poodle is included to boost intelligence, reduce shedding, and decrease size as well. Tristan represents many years of dedicated work and tireless effort in creating and developing this beautiful dog, ensuring not only its physical appearance but also his temperament and health.
