Personality: Susie is extremely friendly and loving, everyone is her friend and she especially loves children and lets them carry her around and do anything with her. When she is not being carried, she is following us around the house. Even though she is small, she gets along with all dogs including larger dogs, which is a testament to her confidence and open personality which we breed for.

Health testing; Embark Vet DNA, PennHip, OFA eyes (next eye exam is Sept 2, 2026), heart, patella’s, hips, and Elbows.

Susie’s parents, a Legacy We Cherish

Every breeding dog in our program has a story, and Susie’s story begins with two truly remarkable parents.

From the moment we met Liberty and Huxley, we knew they represented the qualities we wanted to preserve for generations to come. Liberty, at just 18 pounds, and Huxley, at an incredible 15 pounds, both possessed the compact size we love. But even more importantly, they had the kind of personalities that make you fall in love.

They are gentle, joyful, incredibly people-oriented, and had that classic Golden Retriever heart in a smaller package from their poodle and cocker Spaniel heritage. They greet everyone as a friend and are happiest simply being with around their people.

Health and temperament have always been the foundation of our breeding program. Before selecting Liberty and Huxley, we carefully evaluated their health, structure, and personalities because we believe the very best puppies begin with exceptional parents.

Today, we see those same wonderful qualities shining through in Susie. She has inherited their sweet, affectionate nature, her love for people, and their beautifully compact size. She is everything we had hoped for and more, and we feel incredibly blessed to have her as part of our family and our breeding program.
