A Taylormade Mini Golden Retriever is a thoughtfully bred mix of Golden Retriever, Cocker Spaniel, and Poodle—designed to capture the classic Golden Retriever temperament in a smaller, easier-to-manage size. Typically 20–50 lbs, they offer the same loving, intelligent, family-friendly personality in a compact companion.

This breed began in 1989 when Michele Taylor fell in love with a small Golden-like puppy named Muffy, whose small size, gentle nature, and lower shedding inspired the creation of Taylormade Mini Goldens. Decades of selective, health-focused breeding have followed, resulting in a beautiful, consistent miniature version of the beloved Golden.
